How to arrange a baptism

Before a baptism takes place, there needs to be a certain amount of preparation! It means that you know what to expect (for example, the best places to sit) and what the difference parts of the service mean, and so that we can talk through the promises that you will make during the service.

Preparation takes place each month in St George’s Church. It’s generally on the last Tuesday of every month at 7.30pm and lasts 30-45 minutes.   Please email or ring before turning up just to check that there hasn’t been a change.

It means that if you want a baptism in June, you need to have come along to ONE of the preparation evenings in January, February, March, April or May.
