"Bedroom Farce" is a hilarious comedy play written by Sir Alan Ayckbourn.
 
Set in three different bedrooms during the course of one chaotic evening, the play revolves around the intertwined lives of four couples. As the night unfolds, the characters grapple with personal crises, misunderstandings, and a series of comedic mishaps.
 
The play cleverly explores the complexities of relationships, portraying the ups and downs of married life with wit and charm. Ayckbourn's skillful use of door-slamming and mistaken identities adds a classic farcical element to the story, creating a whirlwind of laughter and entertainment.

Who we are...

We are social and friendly group who meet weekly to read a chosen play, possibly one which we are planning to stage in the future, and everyone will get a chance to read a part. We will also have some fun and take part in drama games and activities for us all to get to know each other and ‘break the ice’.  Refreshments will also be available throughout the evening.

How do I join?

Just pop along to any of our sessions and see what we get up to.

If you are interested in joining, we kindly ask that you fill out the registration form which is available to download and print below and list any medical or allergy information that you think we should know about so that we can keep these details safely on file.  There is also a section on the form regarding permission to use photographic and video images for advertising purposes.  Please indicate your preferences on the form and hand in the completed form to one of the group leaders when you come along to the first session. Forms will be kept safe.

The group is initially open to over 18’s with the view to open it up to younger members once the group is established and we have the provisions for chaperoning etc.
